Google spreadsheet is a free program to create spreadsheets using the spreadsheet software Google. The program includes formulas and commands to help you with spreadsheet related tasks like calculation, graphs, report creation, and exporting/ importing information. This spreadsheet software was first released in 2004 and it is one of the most advanced spreadsheet programs on the market today. The reason why this program is so popular is because it can be used for any type of spreadsheet related task.
You can use this spreadsheet on Mac, PC or Linux. The program enables you to easily add, edit, and share your spreadsheets. If you have not used spreadsheet programs before, you will quickly learn that creating, organizing, and then sharing spreadsheets is very simple. Even those who are computer newbies find it very easy to use the spreadsheet interface.
To add sheets to your spreadsheet, click on the sheets menu found at the top of your screen. You will then see a series of drop down menus of different sizes. Double click on the plus sign next to the size you want to add. The size you choose will determine the number of rows and columns in your spreadsheet. After you select a size, you will see a list of cells containing the cells you chose in the previous step.
In this step, you will be formatting your cells. Click on the format tab on the Formatting Cells dialogue box. The following tab options are available. You can change the font style, color, and size of the cells. Furthermore, you can adjust the character style, bold styling, and italic styling of your cells.
There are also some handy functions available in the spreadsheet. You can copy and paste a value from another cells into a new cell. You can also copy the formatting string from one cell to another. You can also click and drag some fields from one cell to another. You can also drag borderlines between cells. There are many more useful functions that you can use when you format a spreadsheet in Google Docs.
One more thing you should know is how to restore a spreadsheet back to its previous state. If you accidentally delete some of the cells or columns in your spreadsheet, you can easily restore it back to its previous state by clicking on the restore button on the wizard. There are many other small tips and tutorials that you should read about using Google Docs. However, if you are not familiar with most of the items and menus, you can always ask for help from the Help menu or the contact us link on the upper right corner of your spreadsheet home page.
Google Docs also lets you access your spreadsheets from anywhere with a web browser. You don't even need to download the spreadsheet software to access it; you can access it from the browser's address bar. It is also very easy to retrieve and manage your spreadsheets after you've opened them in the browser.
